Former head of the Northeast Ohio Rescue and Restore Coalition
"The need for residential beds for trafficked girls is dire."
Ohio yields about 1,200 sex-trafficked victims every year. Imagine what this means...hundreds of girls who have endured horrible physical and emotional abuse, who have no concept of a normal teenager's life.
They need a place to go...a place where they can heal and learn to live the lives they were meant to before it was taken away.
Gracehaven stands in the gap with them with a residential facility -- the longest-serving, licensed residential group home for sex-trafficked minors in Ohio.

While at the Campus
Our Program
The Gracehaven campus has multiple group homes on site, with a capacity to serve 12 females. While placed in our care youth receive trauma-informed and responsive care 24/7. We also provide comprehensive medical care, trauma counseling, wraparound case management services, specialized education services, independent living skills instruction and prevention education. Each of our services has a strong focus on the treatment of complex trauma among youth and families who have been impacted by sexual violence and human trafficking. We tailor the treatment plan to meet the needs and strengths of the individual youth. And because the family is impacted as well, we provide family-engagement and support services alongside our residential care.
